Walk Around Tarban Creek - Wild-life/History/Human Activity

The creek is home to lots of vegetation and animals as well.

Sites 3&4 - DUCKS!!!!  ^

As well as seeing the ducks on my walk, i found information boards that informed me not only on the history of the creek, BUT, on the Wild-life and Human impact on the Creek as well. Here are just a few examples:

Sample site 2 - Murray Prior Reserve - History/Human Impact  ^

Gives information on rocks and Human impact on them in the 1800s and the Human impact on the Creeks water in 1911 when it was used as a swimming bath.

   Sample sites 3&4 - Wild-life  ^

Gives an information on the animals that live in Tarban Creek's polluted environment with examples of animals, and compares them with the animals that would live in a less polluted environment.

Tarban Creek - Human Activity  ^

Explains the affect of Human Activity (urbanisation) has had on the Creek, such as heavy pollution, and effective ways to improve on the problem.

The others will be typed up into the report.
